Abilar 10% 20g wound ointment with spruce resin

Product Introduction and purpose
Abilar® 10% resin ointment has a scientifically proven antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and epithelial tissue regeneration effect. The effect of resin ointment is based on the biological composition of the components of Finnish spruce resin (Picea abies). It is designed for both home and professional use.
Resin ointment is used for scratches, abrasions, skin cracks and skin cracks (corners of the mouth, fingertips, heels), burns, inflammatory wounds (bed sores, foot and diabetic ulcers), paronychia, insect bites. Resin ointment reduces skin irritation, itching and accelerates skin healing.
Suitable for professional use in infected and uninfected, acute and chronic wounds, bedsores, diabetic wounds, leg ulcers, complex surgical wound complications and open abscesses.

Instructions for use
Before applying the ointment, the affected skin area must be cleaned, washed and dried. For home care, the ointment is applied as a thin layer directly to the wound, skin break, burn or abrasion and covered with a regular plaster or gauze. Abilar® 10% resin ointment is used 1-2 times a day until the skin damage heals.
For chronic, difficult-to-heal wounds, resin ointment is applied to the wound and covered with ordinary gauze or a bandage. In case of a dry wound, regular bandaging is recommended, in case of discharge of wound fluid, it is recommended to use an absorbent bandage. The ointment is changed according to the usual interval for the type of wound. If the wound contains cavities, the ointment can first be covered with a wound dressing that is used in the wound cavity. Gauze impregnated with ointment should be changed daily or every other day. It is not recommended to apply the ointment to the mucous membranes, eyes or mouth. For chronic, difficult-to-heal wounds, follow your doctor’s or nurse’s instructions.
