The BORT Stabilo® epicondylitis orthosis is designed for ‘tennis/golf elbow’, which occurs as a result of overexertion and irritates the tendons. Wearing an epicondylitis orthosis about 5 cm below the elbow joint provides relief in that area. This is achieved as a result of compression of the muscles of the arm, which, however, does not restrict blood circulation.

How to use:
Place the epicondylitis orthosis externally so that the wider part of the orthosis is on top of the lower arm, facing medially (toward the center of the body). A properly fitted epicondylitis orthosis relieves the tendons of the extensor muscles on the outside of the elbow and the tendons of the flexor muscles on the inside of the elbow. Epicondylitis orthosis should only be worn during manual activities. It should not be taken as a rest splint.
INDICATIONS
Epicondylitis, chronic or recurrent epicondylopathy, tendinopathy, overuse, so to speak tennis/golf elbow.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), impaired lymphatic drainage and indistinct soft tissue swelling away from applied support, loss of sensation, circulatory problems and skin rash in the treated body area.

85% polyamide 10% polyester 5% elastodiene
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
The product is intended for use by one person only. If you have to wear the orthosis at night as recommended by your doctor, avoid obstructing blood circulation. If you feel numbness, remove or loosen the orthosis. If you continue to have complaints, contact your doctor immediately. The product contains latex and may cause allergic reactions
