Chemisept G 250ml

CHEMISEPT G is a colorless alcohol-based tool for preoperative skin antiseptic. The product has a broad fungicidal and bactericidal effect, destroys Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, incl. tuberculosis and fungi, deactivates both enveloped and non-enveloped viruses (including HBV, HIV, rota and adeno). The product CHEMISEPT G uses pure and low-volatile ethyl alcohol to prevent respiratory irritation. After the skin antiseptic, thanks to the long-acting disinfectant contained in the product, an environment unsuitable for the life of microbes remains for three hours. After the duration of action, the skin’s normal microflora is quickly restored. Chemisept G does not irritate the skin. The product is colorless and is therefore also suitable for cosmetic surgery.

How to use:

•Preoperative skin preparation: Treat the surgical area with CHEMISEPT G. To do this, use tweezers and a sterile tampon, which is impregnated with the product and applied to the skin by rubbing it evenly. Antiseptic of the operation area should be carried out twice, both times the duration of action is 1.5 min. The duration of action of the solution for preoperative preparation of the skin is a total of 3 minutes. The incision film can only be applied to dry skin. In case of aseptic surgery, start the antiseptic in the area of the planned cut, moving further towards the periphery. In case of septic surgery, start with skin antiseptic from the periphery, moving towards the septic area. • Skin antiseptic before injection and blood collection: Moisten the injection strip with the product and treat the injection or blood collection area, take a new injection strip and moisten the skin a second time, letting the product dry. Duration of action 30 seconds. • Skin antiseptic before intra-articular injection, puncture, arthroscopy and cannulation: Moisten the injection strip or tampon and treat the skin in the area of the operation area, repeat the procedure a second time with a new tampon. Action time for skin preparation 30 seconds. Since CHEMISEPT G has passed tests for BVDV (HCV surrogate), vaccinia, Adeno, Rota and Herpes viruses, the product inactivates all encapsulated viruses. Based on these tests, it can be stated that CHEMISEPT G is also effective in the so-called against blood-borne viruses such as HBV, HCV and HIV, as well as viral groups such as orthomyxoviruses (including influenza virus, H5N1) and herpes viruses (Herpes simplex virus). The product meets the requirements of EN 13727, EN 13624, EN 14348, EN 12791.
