Hernia belt with stoma hole

A hernia belt with a stoma hole helps with weak connective tissue in the abdominal area, especially with a stoma. In the case of a colostomy, the compression pad stabilizes the tissue structures in the affected area.

Use​​
​When using a pressure pad, place it on the inside of the waist over the stoma opening. Put the belt on loosely. Open both Velcro fasteners, line up the opening on the belt with the stoma opening. Pull the ostomy bag out of the opening and close the Velcro fasteners. Then close the support so that it provides adequate and comfortable support.

Indications
Abdominal paralysis and hernia, postoperative condition, condition after colostomy or ileostomy with connective tissue weakness.

Contraindication
Peripheral artery disease, lymph drainage disorder and unclear tissue swelling, sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the corresponding body part, skin irritations in the corresponding body part.

Not reusable – this medical device is intended for single patient use. If your doctor recommends wearing at night, avoid obstructing blood flow. In case of numbness, relax the orthosis, remove if necessary. If the complaints continue, consult a doctor. When wearing the support, do not use creams or greases, they can damage the product.
