An ankle boot splint immobilizes and supports the injured tissue structures. By immobilizing a painful ankle joint, weight is removed from the muscles, which helps speed up the healing process.
INDICATIONS
Use before or after surgery, post-traumatic use, immobilization of the foot, metatarsal fracture, soft tissue injuries, sprains.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), impaired lymphatic drainage and indistinct soft tissue swelling away from applied support, loss of sensation, circulatory problems and skin rash in the treated body area.
COMPOSITION
70% polyamide 30% ester-based polyurethane
IMPORTANT TO KNOW
The product is intended for use by one person only. If you have to wear a splint at night as recommended by your doctor, avoid obstructing blood circulation. If you feel numbness, remove the splint or loosen it. If you have persistent complaints, consult a doctor.
