BORT ManuCarpal® Soft Wrist Orthosis

Wrist orthoses support injured tissue structures (joints, ligaments, capsules, cartilage).

The BORT ManuCarpal® Soft orthosis keeps the fingers, thumb and wrist in a resting position. The aluminum splint enables individual adjustment in the wrist and thumb area. In addition, the splint offers protection against wrong movements.

How to use:
Place the splint under the arm and decide on the desired hand and thumb position. Remove the splint and bend it into the desired shape. Place the splint back on the hand and fasten with Velcro around the wrist joint, then close the straps around the wrist and forearm.

INDICATIONS
Pre-operative, post-traumatic or post-operative irritations in the wrist, carpal tunnel syndrome, paralysis, inflammatory and rheumatic diseases.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Peripheral artery disease, lymph drainage disorder and unclear tissue swelling, sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the corresponding body part, skin irritations in the corresponding body part.

COMPOSITION
38% polyamide velor, 28% cotton, 28% polyurethane, 6% polyester.
