BT JUMP Knee orthosis

Diseases of knee joints and ligaments need an effective solution: the BT JUMP knee orthosis is the perfect solution. This orthosis is designed to be worn for cruciate ligament injuries, patella luxation and knee joint diseases (arthritis, arthrosis, varus and valgus). It can be used as an alternative to surgery or after surgery. The BT JUMP orthosis has two pockets in which there are two angled splints that limit the mobility of the knee if necessary. The abdominal strap holds the orthosis securely around the dog’s leg.

The orthosis can also be used without splints, for example, in the case of arthritis and arthrosis. This is because the compression raises the blood pressure in the area, thereby raising the temperature and reducing the pain caused by the disease.

ADVANTAGES

Stabilizing the diseased area often means contributing to healing. Two angled aluminum splints are inserted into special pockets to limit movement, thereby holding in place the area that needs to be held in place. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

Care must be taken when applying the orthosis to a male dog. When putting the orthosis around the hip, the strap should be brought in front of the penis to avoid laceration of the urethra.

KNEE ORTHOSIS ANCHOR KIT

The knee orthosis anchor set is intended primarily for overweight and male dogs. It should be used when it is not possible to fasten the orthosis with an abdominal strap. There is no anchor kit for dogs in sizes XS and XXS 1 First of all, you should untie all the straps. The longest strap should be opened so that it comes up along the thigh, not under the stomach.

2 The anchor set can be used on both the left and right leg. Fasten the anchor strap around the dog’s other leg, pass the strap through the white ring and close. The length of the strap is adjustable (Figure A-B). 3 You can now connect the anchor kit to the BT Jump orthosis over the dog’s back. 4 The strap that attaches to the collar is designed to fix the knee orthosis in place even better. The velor straps with Velcro fastening are adjustable and can be shortened. To do this, remove the Velcro fastener, cut the strap shorter and replace the fastener.
