BT NECK ECO Anti-licking neck support

The BT Neck Eco anti-licking collar for dogs and cats is designed as an alternative to a regular collar and surpasses its functionality by combining efficiency and ultimate comfort. The purpose of this is to prevent the dog or cat from biting you and thereby also remove the post-operative stitches. It also helps with obsessive-compulsive behavior patterns. The collar is made of black breathable velor, inside there is a slightly stiffer material that prevents the animal from turning its neck so far that it reaches the wounds. In dogs, this limits the ability to lick the chest, belly and flanks and makes it difficult to reach the front paws (elbow to shoulder). It also protects the anus area if operations have been performed there. For both male and female cats, it should only be used after sterilization.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE

• The BT Neck collar is not suitable for use on bulldogs and hounds. Hounds’ long necks prevent the collar from staying in place, and bulldogs’ short, stocky necks prevent it from fitting well.
• It is important that the collar fits tightly around the neck so that it does not move.
• While wearing the collar, the dog can be walked with both a collar and a brace.
• During a 24-hour period, it is recommended to remove the collar for 1-2 hours.
• Not recommended for use if surgery has been performed on the front paws (elbow to wrist).
