Wrist orthoses support injured tissue structures (joints, ligaments, capsules, cartilage). Compression supports the function of the ligaments by relieving the load on the joint. The aluminum splint is shaped so that the hand is in a relaxed and easy position.
INDICATIONS
Before surgery, after trauma, postoperative condition, after tendon reconstruction, immobilization in case of degeneration (De Quervain’s disease), rhizarthrosis, damage to the radial and lunate joints of the thumb, inflammation
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Peripheral artery disease, lymph drainage disorder and unclear tissue swelling, sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the corresponding body part, skin irritations in the corresponding body part.
