Hand orthoses support injured tissue structures (joints, ligaments, capsules, cartilage). Compression supports the function of the ligaments by relieving the load on the joint. The thumb cutout prevents the support from moving. The elastic Stabilo® strap can be adjusted and the splint provides maximum support. The orthosis is easy to install on today’s highly elastic tissue, but provides good support.
Adjusting the plastic clamp
At a temperature of 70-160°C, the plastic splint can be molded individually. After shaping and before putting on the support, push the individually shaped splint into the corresponding pocket on the orthosis.
INDICATIONS
Chronic, post-traumatic or postoperative irritations in the saddle joint of the thumb. For example, a crack, arthritis, damage to the ulnar and radial ligaments.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Peripheral artery disease, lymph drainage disorder and unclear tissue swelling, sensory loss and blood flow disorders in the corresponding body part, skin irritations in the corresponding body part.

65% polyamide, 28% elastodiene, 7% viscose

Not reusable – this medical device is intended for single patient use. If your doctor recommends wearing at night, avoid obstructing blood flow. In case of numbness, relax the orthosis, remove if necessary. If complaints continue, consult a doctor.
