Immobilization is a common method of treating injuries and sprains, which significantly speeds up the treatment process and reduces possible additional injuries. The ankle orthosis supports the damaged tissue structures (joints, ligaments, joint capsules, cartilage), but at the same time allows exercise of the undamaged structures. The BORT TaloFX® ankle support is very easy to immobilize and stabilize.
Usage
1. Open the three fastening straps. Slip the support over your toes and put it on like a sock. 2. Now fasten the strap at the bottom of the leg. Make sure the strap is not twisted. 3. Next, fasten the strap marked in yellow. To do this, guide the strap from the outside diagonally across the thumb, through the free flap (on the inner cam) towards the return loop at the back. Now fasten the strap loosely. 4. Now fasten the strap marked in orange color. To do this, guide the strap from the inside diagonally across the thumb towards the return loop and fasten the strap loosely. Next, fasten the strap described in step 3 firmly and then the strap described in step 4. 5. You may need to readjust the straps after a few minutes. NÄIDUSTUSED
Post-operative ligament suture/reconstruction protection, conservative treatment of ankle deformity and ligament tears, immobilization of inflammatory irritations, rheumatism, arthritis, tendinitis, ligament injuries, supination/pronation trauma.
