BT BONE Orthosis for forelimb fractures

Orthosis for fractures of the forelimb (spoke and ulna and spoke and carpus). The BT BONE orthosis is an alternative to the more conventional splints and casts used to treat traumatic fractures of the forelimbs, including those occurring at the spokes, ulna, and carpal bones. It has three rigid splints – one fixed splint is at the back, in the middle pocket, and the other two splints are on the sides – they can be moved as needed using the Velcro fastener. Splints provide stability and support to the fractured limb throughout the healing period determined by the veterinarian. The orthosis is designed for everyday wear. The breathable material prevents blisters and irritations caused by sweating. It is recommended to use the BT BONE orthosis together with the BT JOINT orthosis, because using it on a healthy leg helps the dog compensate for the load transferred from the leg with a broken bone.
