To mitigate and prevent falls

One significant cause of death in people with dementia is the result of a fractured femoral neck caused by a fall. Unlike natural aging,
people with dementia, due to the decline in cognitive abilities (planning processes are slowed down), are unable to assess their strengths and determine when
it is necessary to sit down to prevent falls. As the disease progresses, the sense of safety diminishes.
