Abilar® VET wound ointment 30ml

Abilar® VET contains 10% Norwegian spruce resin, which is collected from Finland, Lapland and cold-cleaned. The ointment relieves itching and irritation caused by skin damage and accelerates the wound healing process.

Wound ointment for animals is effective both for insect bites and superficial scratches, as well as for bites and deep wounds. It is also suitable for abscesses, abrasions and abscesses. The ointment does not sting.

Abilar® VET creates a protective film on the skin that does not wear off even in moist conditions (purulent wounds, paws, paw pads, nails, horse hooves)

The resinous taste of the ointment reduces the animal’s desire to lick the wound.

Usage:

Clean and dry the wound area. In the case of purulent wounds, removing the fur from the surrounding area will speed up the drying of the wound.

Apply Sal directly to the wound or bandage as you apply it to the wound.

The treatment should be repeated every 1-3 days. After that, the wound should be cleaned and dried, and the ointment should be applied again. If necessary, also a bandage.

You should make sure that the animal cannot lick the wound because saliva slows down or even prevents wound healing. If necessary, use an anti-licking collar.

The use of the ointment should be continued until the lesion or wound has healed. The length of treatment can be from a few days to a few weeks, depending on, for example, the depth of the damage.
