The rescue fabric is made of polyamide and polyester. The fabric is fire retardant. Easy to use for patient evacuation in case of fire or other danger. The rescue fabric must be placed between the mattress and the bed so that the patient can be evacuated quickly in case of fire or danger. In case of evacuation, it is possible to easily transport the patient even by one person. The rescue fabric has extra long pull tabs on each shorter side. Thanks to the extra long pull handles, it is possible for staff to reduce the physical load on their backs.
The fastening straps contain a strong Velcro material and are orange, which is internationally known as a safety color.
The rescue fabric meets the requirements of the Swedish standard SS 876 00 39:2012 and it guarantees that the pull handles can withstand a load of 1000N (100kg), which is equivalent to a patient weight of 210kg.
The lifeline can be used in both dry and wet emergency situations.
The fabric has a high slip resistance.
The rescue cloth can be used during the X-ray.
