Immobilization is a common method of treating injuries caused by trauma and overuse, which significantly speeds up the treatment process and reduces possible additional injuries. The shoulder and arm orthosis supports damaged tissue structures (joints, ligaments, joint capsules, cartilage). BORT OmoXpress is designed for shoulder immobilization, which fixes the shoulder joint easily and firmly, while keeping the arm close to the body.
INDICATIONS
Before and after surgery, post-traumatic use, such as sprains, concussions, dislocations, humerus fractures.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Clavicle fracture, peripheral arterial occlusive disease (PAOD), impaired lymphatic drainage and unexplained soft tissue swelling away from applied support, loss of sensation, circulatory problems, and skin rash in the treated body area.

How to use:
The immobilizing BORT OmoXpress shoulder orthosis should be fitted by a professional in your field. 1. Place the belt around the torso (under the chest) and fasten with Velcro. 2. Strap the arm of the injured shoulder. 3. Place the wrist strap around your wrist and fasten with Velcro. 4. Fasten the belt buckle between the waist belt and the arm belt. 5. With two Velcro fasteners, you can adjust the waist belt. 6. Check the patient’s posture and, if necessary, adjust the orthosis.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW
The product is intended for use by one person only. If you have to wear the orthosis at night as recommended by your doctor, avoid obstructing blood circulation. If you feel numbness, remove or loosen the orthosis. If you continue to have complaints, contact your doctor immediately.
